FINALFIX ADVANCED FIXATIVE:

Say goodbye to framing under glass! FinalFix is a versatile, casein-based spray fixative enhanced with beeswax and other natural ingredients to provide a tough, moisture-resistant finish. It's similar to SpectraFix Degas Fixative but offers a slightly deeper, semi-matte sheen, scuff resistance, and allows for light damp cleaning. Excellent for layering drawing media into acrylic paintings, and other multi-media works. Not suitable for oil pastels, try the Degas fixative instead.

IDEAL FOR :

USAGE NOTES :

o Not Compatible with Oil Pastels: The beeswax doesn't combine well with the non-drying mineral oils used in oil pastels, try the SpectraFix Degas Fixative instead.
o Not for use as a final varnish on Acrylic or Oil Paintings: While it does work well to layer various media into oil or acrylic paintings, it is not intended as a final varnish on oils or acrylics. This is because it absorbs and releases atmospheric moisture, while oils and acrylics do not. Although rare, over a span of years, this 'breathing' on top of the non-absorbent oil or acrylic could cause some delamination.
