GOLDEN WHITE GESSO

Golden White Gesso is a ready-to-use formulation for painting on most surfaces. It is flexible and can be applied in thin layers on a wide variety of textures without cracking.

Gesso can be mixed with acrylic colors to produce a range of colored grounds.

Proper preparation with Gesso increases the life span of artwork. Note: at least three layers of gesso are recommended for oil painting.

Gesso can be thought of as the bridge between your support (canvas, board or whatever you paint on) and the paint. Golden White Gesso is designed to penetrate supports and provide a surface to which paint can adhere.
