Neo Megilp of Gamblin is a softer gel medium, it does not have the same thickness as Galkyd Gel. Neo Megilp has a moderate dry time rate of 3-4 days and remains workable for hours.
Unlike the other Galkyd mediums, Neo Megilp gives colors a satin gloss rather than a high gloss finish.
Neo Megilp makes slightly thicker layers which retain their own texture. Neo Megilp is formulated with Gamsol and is a favorite for transparent glazing techniques.
