GOLDEN HARD MOLDING PASTE MEDIUM

Golden Hard Molding Paste dries to an extremely hard, opaque film, and is useful for creating tough, durable finishes for smooth or textured surfaces.

Features:
o Much harder film than the regular Golden Molding Paste.
o Can be carved.

o Can be mixed with acrylics or painted over.

Golden Hard Molding Paste is similar to the regular Molding Paste, but develops a much harder film. When dry, it can be carved with hands or power tools, and is readily sandable. It can be used on rigid supports like wood to add designs or texture to the object. Hard Molding Paste can also be mixed with acrylic paints or painted over.
Flexibility can be improved by blending with regular Molding Paste or Heavy Gel. To minimize the chance of cracking, avoid applying a single layer thicker than 1/4 inch. Multiple layers can be applied to achieve thicker overall applications; this actually facilitates faster drying.
Golden Molding Pastes are opaque products that can be used to create textural surfaces. Pastes can be used to achieve a variety of effects and expressions. When used in conjunction with acrylic colors they broaden working properties and expand creative possibilities. Unlike gels, pastes are opaque because they contain Marble Dust or other fillers that create a white or clay-tone finish with a variety of textures and properties. Molding Paste can also be used to create foundations for painting either to create texture over a smoother surface, or to smooth out a textured surface. The absorbent qualities of Molding Paste make it suitable as a ground for nearly every painting and drawing media.
