The Hachem gesso prepares surfaces for painting and other applications. It creates a slightly porous ground, suitable for both acrylic and oil paints.
It prevents paint from being absorbed into the surface (reducing the amount of paint consumed) and helps with paint adhesion.
The Hachem gesso contains Titanium White to provide a highly reflective ground for colours to react with. It dries to a matte, white, opaque finish with a slight tooth.
